Is this a GSM (2G) device? How will it work in Australia?

There are a few obsolete products in the Freetronics range that we’re cleaning up, this being one of them. I too was caught out with a project after Telstra disabled their GSM network in December 2016. Perhaps checkout the Particle Electron if you are interested with modern 3G / IoT devices.
