Hey guys, will the “3A 4V-16V 2 Channel DC Motor Driver” work in a similar fashion to a L298N Dual H-bridge motor controller? Im looking to drive a 12v 3a Linear actuator alongside an esp32 module.

Yes, this is an H-bridge MOSFET and compatible with both 5V and 3.3V logic. That means you can use it with an ESP32.

Hi, I was wondering if this motor driver would be correct to power two hobby motors (SKU: ROB-11696) with an operating voltage between 1V to 3V and a max current draw of 0.8A.
I needed a motor driver/ controller that can receive commands from a Raspberry Pi and allow the motors to move clockwise and anti-clockwise.
Thanks.

Hi Santiago
The user guide might say something different (I have not looked) but the specs say

“Operating Voltage: DC 4V to 16V”

Under these circumstance you can only try but I wouldn’t hold my breath for operation down to 1V.
Cheers Bob

Hi @Santiago201902, Welcome to the Forums!!!

Bob is correct that this would likely be the wrong driver for your application, [The DRV8835](https://core-electronics.com.au/attachments/localcontent/drv8835_141590320b6.pdf) is likely the right driver for this application.

The Motor Voltage input is rated for 0-11V and can be driven by a [Raspberry Pi](https://core-electronics.com.au/pololu-drv8835-dual-motor-driver-kit-for-raspberry-pi-b.html)

I hope this helps with your project.
