# Connecting Rasp. Pi to a 10"IPS LCD Screen

Hi,
I am new at this so please excuse me for what might be a simple question.
What is the best way to connect my raspberry Pi 4 to my 10"IPS LCD Screen. do I need a 15 pin ribbon to connect to the screens driver to the Pi4 or should I use the HDMI?

Hi Peter, Welcome to the forum 🙂
Do you have a link to the specific display you were trying to connect so we can walk you through the process for that model?
Most displays of that size just connect via a standard HDMI cable, your Pi 4 has micro HDMI outputs so you may need a cable like this.
