I have a few questions:

  1. Does the V4 come with a GPS antenna or is that an extra purchase? Is it possible to “pair” with a smart phone to receive GPS info from the phone?
  2. The specifications mention connecting to an iOS device. Will it also connect to an Android device or is there an Android device compatible version available? I have an iPhone but I’m also asking for my friend who has a Samsung.

Hi David,

It has a connector for an external GPS receiver if you want better performance out of it. As fair as pairing it, I’m not sure sorry, but I don’t think so.

I haven’t tried to connect that product with a smartphone so I couldn’t tell you sorry, best bet would be to get in touch with the manufacturer directly.
