# How to wire/power 3W LED? Iron Man Glove project

Hi!

I am keen on using the [3W LED (warm light)](https://core-electronics.com.au/led-3w-aluminum-pcb-5-pack-warm-white.html) for an Iron Man Glove project I’m 3D printing.

Thing is, I am very new to electronics, but excited to learn. My main questions:

1. How do I power this?
2. What is a configuration of a circuit with a switch?

Do any of you have any beginner guides/recommendations on how I could power it? I understand it could require a “[FemtoBuck LED Driver](https://core-electronics.com.au/femtobuck-led-driver-32985.html)”, but know little beyond that.

Thanks for that - definitely helps! I can see that I know so little I didn’t understand how much there was to learn. As in, I’m now reading up on this OHM thing. Okay, YouTubing.

Thanks, though! This is going to take me longer before I understand but it’ll be the start of something great.
