# Micro:bit and MonkMakes mayhem

Anyway the micro:bit is randomly throwing up a temperature of -6 when two pieces of code are joined and one sensor (temp) is courtesy of the MonkMakes sensor board.
Cannot figure out why…

Hi Christopher,
This issue is nearly always caused by faulty internal connections or by a physical continuity error on the board. Is there another temperature sensor that you can use to cross reference the results? Also if you could please email support@coreelectronics.com.au I’ll see what we can do for you to correct this.
