We’ve just become aware that the version of NOOBS on our current stock of NOOBS cards is not compatible with the Pi 400, though it can be easily updated. While this does mean that you won’t have a completely plug and play experience, the SD card is a high-quality card, endorsed and tested by the Raspberry Pi Foundation to be suitable for handling the very high number of read/write cycles a Pi SD card experiences. The fastest way to get up and running if you happen to have a spare Pi 4 is to setup Raspberry Pi OS on your Pi 4 first, then run `sudo apt update` ​ and `sudo apt full-upgrade` ​. You can then switch your NOOBS card back to your Pi 400 and you’ll be good to go! This will save you a significant amount of internet data usage. If you don’t have a Pi 4, the second option is to download and install the latest version of [Raspberry Pi OS](https://www.raspberrypi.org/software/) or [NOOBS](https://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads/noobs/) to your SD card using [Raspberry Pi Imager](https://www.raspberrypi.org/software/). We’ve also got [a tutorial](https://core-electronics.com.au/tutorials/how-to-create-a-noobs-microsd-card.html) on how to go about creating a NOOBS card using [Balena Etcher](https://www.balena.io/etcher/) as an alternative if you run into problems using the Raspberry Pi Imager for some reason.
