# Please recommend an IR sensor for this project

My son is wanting to do this project and I’m trying to find a suitable proximity sensor for him.

I’m thinking this could work

Hi Danielle,

Yes, that sensor or a PIR should also be able to provide an appropriate output for the project to be able to control the digital pump.
