Last night's [Raspberry Pi for Beginners Workshop](https://core-electronics.com.au/raspberry-pi-beginners-workshop.html) was a full-house. In two hours we covered a complete start-up experience with the [Raspberry Pi](https://core-electronics.com.au/raspberry-pi.html), from demoing multiple operating systems through to writing code to control real-world hardware. As usual, participants were starting their adventures with Raspberry Pi from many different backgrounds: some with deep experience in programming and some who had never built a circuit before - we're so pleased to have helped with your first! One participant was interested in building an air-quality monitor and logger with a Raspberry Pi - a great project that can make use of the Pi's internet connectivity and display capability. If you're wondering how to get started with Raspberry Pi, or other maker-favourites, sign up for one of our [in-house workshops](https://core-electronics.com.au/workshops.html). If you're itching for more Raspberry Pi, we have a more comprehensive, [free online course](https://core-electronics.com.au/tutorials/raspberry-pi-workshop-for-beginners.html) and [tutorials](https://core-electronics.com.au/tutorials) where you can explore even more topics. ![Raspberry Pi Workshop for Beginners 14-1-20](http://core-electronics.com.au/media/wysiwyg/blog/ben/20200114-800x600.jpg "Raspberry Pi Workshop for Beginners 14-1-20") This blog can also be viewed [**here**](http://core-electronics.com.au/electronics-blog/raspberry-pi-14-1-20)
