Does anyone know whether the SmartPi Touch 2 stand for the official RPi 7" Touchscreen display is easily wall mountable? From the pictures, it seems that the base of it or its hinges can be screwed to a wall. But then can you swivel it up on its hinges to be parallel to the wall with the RPi mounted on the back? Are there other displays (e.g. Waveshare) that can be nicely wall mounted?

Hi Nicholas,

I pulled a Touch 2 from the shelf to test, and while it doesn’t pivot far back enough to have the base wall-mounted, it features 75mm VESA mounts on the rear which you may be able to use to get it wall mounted!

Let me know if you have any other questions 🙂

Thank you for that, James.
Is it possible to mount the Waveshare displays on a wall?
