I think more information is needed.
I know where I live, one end of my house gets ok 4G on my phone, while at the other end very very poor 4g signal, thus slow (sometimes not at all) 4G speeds. It was ok when I had the 3G fall back, but thats now gone.

As such, speed on a speed test will depended on a few things.

  1. Your device (HAT) to the Cell. - keep in mind that your phone could show a good level, but the HAT may have a low level.
  2. Interface of some sort.
  3. Speed of device to decode/encode packets at each level (including encryption)
  4. Distance between you and the selected test server. (123ms seems a bit high)

Hi @karl288127

Welcome to the forum!

Those results are definitely on the slower side of things, download speed can be dictated by a few different things among others: Network congestion, Signal Strength, Device Limitation

From personal experience using Telstra’s 5G network for my home internet connection, it can vary wildly from a few MB/s up to ~200MB/s, things like weather, time and day, the amount of people that are also using the nearby tower and also line of sight to the tower will impact the speed.

As Michael mentioned, we really do need some more info about how you have your device set up
