Hi, n00b maker here. I’m retired early, so between family things, I’m trying to do some cool stuff.
Been building PCs since last century (just) and more recently watercooling them, because why not?
Then I got in to 3D printing, then modifying the hell out of the printer, then getting another one, then Klipper, then yeah, self built core XY has to be next.
Octoprint & Klipper and playing with steppers got me wanting to play more with physical computing using the pi. I really want to make some functional droids if I’m being honest. I’m a long way from a self navigating useful house droid though.
My CAD is coming along slowly, just starting with Fusion 360, so not complicated assemblies, but good enough to make functional components for repairs or custom objects at home.
My python is super basic, I have some books I haven’t read, and am still n00bish and experimenting.
