Kicad Symbol editor — cant draw a rectangle!
Ok - I am previously an AutoCAD user, where drawing rectangles is
– click and hold at start corner, drag to diagonal corner, and release –
All this seems to do in KiCAD is select previously drawn items like pins …
Somehow (once) I managed to get a rectangle, which I could then resize by corner node click/drag operations, but since then nada! Very frustrating!
What am I doing wrong / need to do right?
I have tried a method found on the internet of
– click and release at first corner, move to diagonal corner and click –
however I am still waiting for a rectangle!!
