Kits have been available the whole time.
Single units are unlikely until 2023 due to the international silicon shortage (affecting Single Board Computers such as this) and an oversupply of accessories, sorry!
We are all looking forward to things returning to normal

Is there any chance of some change to the kits available? More of a minimal kit: no mini hdmi, powersupply, otg, etc. On the other hand: a zero 2 starter kit with soldered headers would probably make sense, perhaps with the GPIO reference card.
