Browser controlled by script

I need to have a Raspberry Pi connected to a screen and mouse and keyboard and Ethernet. Upon running a script on boot up, it must open a web browser with an designated URL and in a window designating window size and position on the display, and it must have the browser with only the browser part in the window, not the typical browser tabs and other browser control information like URL, apps and other controls. The mouse will be able to be used within the browser data area. The keyboard will be used to kill the browser only. Is this possible and how would one approach this problem?
