I recently ordered an ADAFRUIT MICRO LIPO W/MICROUSB JACK - USB LIION/LIPOLY CHARGER which can be used to charge 3.7v lithium-ion battery. I noticed that there are a 5v pin and GND pin on the edge of this board, so I wonder if this board can output 5v to other circuits.
measure with a DMM on those pin`s check if there is 5 volts across them
most likely can run other devices …but what it`s current output is
i don’t know unless you load it up an use an ammeter…

Being an adafruit product theres plenty of documentation available. This board is only a charger, not a boost converter.
Those pads are connected to the USB port 5v and gnd, so they’ll only have voltage when a usb cable is plugged in. You could also use them to hardwire the charger to a 5v source.
