We’ve been in contact with our supplier and they have advised on the issues at hand.
The cable extension kits being used are flashed with an old firmware version, and as such are incompatible with the IMX296 (Global Shutter Camera). Unfortunately, the units do not support remote firmware flash. As such, they are happy to provide replacement extension kits, flashed with new firmware. We are happy to organise/facilitate this exchange provided that you are satisfied with this outcome, please advise.
Strangely, the issue with the IMX708 (Pi Camera 3) is unexpected. We have been informed by the supplier that the cable extension kits should work with the IMX708 without issue. We will continue working with the supplier to resolve this issue as soon as possible.
