Pi Pico W with Thonny and WebREPL

Is it possible to connect Pico W with Thonny over wifi? I have been doing this with ESP8266 and ESP32 Firebeetle and assumed it would be possible with Pico W but can not find a way to do it.

Hi John,

Excellent question, there’s an open issue on the MicroPython GitHub regarding this at the moment and some other discussions online on other forums referencing it. The Pico W is still quite new, so support and public discussions are still developing over time:

I couldn’t find any tutorials specifically demonstrating how to get this set up to point you too, but this is where I would start looking into this myself. All the best with the project and new Pico!
