I don’t think “good” and “inexpensive” go together when speaking about soldering irons.
Sorry to put a dampener on your thoughts but that is how I see it.
Soldering should be considered such an important part of the practical learning curve I don’t think anyone should cut corners too much on this tool.

Full disclosure, I am a Core employee so feel free to imagine me in a uniform when you read this.
But I have had a lot of experiences with cheap soldering irons over the years and they usually need to be binned relatively quickly and that means buying more cheap soldering boards.
It’s far better to save and get yourself something that will last a while. It’s one big purchase up front that will save you in the long run.
It is risky to purchase from alliexpress. Sometimes the products are good, sometimes bad. It is always safer to purchase from a reliable supplier like core electronics, Sparkfun etc.
