Turbidity Sensor connect to Arduino UNO

Hi there,
I recently purchased a Turbidity Sensor SKU: SEN0189 from core electronics hoping to connect it to my Arduino UNO for a water turbidity monitoring project. However, although I have access to the data sheet and no the relevant connection required (Grnd, 5V and A0) I can’t seem to physically connect the wires to the Arduino pins.

Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated.
Many thanks,
Bec

Hi Rebecca,
Did your board come with a cable to connect the sensor board to the Arduino headers?

Yes it did, but we detached this as we wanted to follow the schematic from https://www.dfrobot.com/wiki/index.php/Turbidity_sensor_SKU:_SEN0189

Ok great, I’m fairly sure the end of the cable that connects to the Arduino has female headers on it. Perhaps just pickup a couple of male jumper wires like these: http://core-electronics.com.au/jumper-wires-premium-12-m-m-pack-of-10.html

thank you very much!!

Not a problem Rebecca
