Hi
I am trying to make a fruit activated sound controller that will trigger samples from a computer when the fruit is touched, like a midi keyboard. I am using this device in a theatre project where the performer triggers samples throughout the show. Please note the performer is non verbal and neuro diverse so it has to be extremely simple to trigger.
I have bought the Arduino Ono R3 Board + Adafruit MPR121
I have zero experience in this area and finding it very difficult to find information on how to achieve this with the purchased devices.

Hey @Sheshtin294796, Welcome to the forums!
This would be a cool project! We would be happy to help out.
To start with, could you clarify if you are using the stand-alone board version of the Adafruit MPR121:
or the Arduino Shield version:

Hey @Sheshtin294796
The set up for both will be similar and you can follow along with Adafruit MPR121 12-Key Capacitive Touch Sensor Breakout Tutorial omitting the parts in the guide about wiring it up to the arduino as you will instead put it directly on top of the Arduino.
