This is a low cost humidity and temperature sensor with a single wire digital interface. The sensor is calibrated and doesn’t require extra components so you can get right to measuring relative humidity and temperature.

They’re known to be fairly basic, but the 1 or 2 second max polling frequency wasn’t as much a problem as the slow response to changes in either temp or humidity… Something in the order of a minute to come back to normal after making deliberate changes to test. (The DS18B20 (digital) for example is almost immediate)

Anyway, probably totally fine for just logging conditions day to day or something similar, but I’ll probably look at some others for any control applications
