I2C on a Spark Core

Hello,

Could someone please help me with how I would wireup and code a Particle Core (yes the original particle photon) to read temperature and humidity from this sensor:

I was using a DHT22 sensor but have found they are useless for high humidity environments. They seem to slowly build up to higher and higher levels over time and then get stuck at 99.9%.
I’ve tried two and they both do the same thing.
I hope the above sensor is ok for a high humidity environment 85-95%RH. If not and you know a better one please let me know thank you.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Documentation for the particle core are still available on the Particle website.

https://docs.particle.io/datasheets/discontinued/core-datasheet/

That should get you started with the board and connections.

Don’t know about the sensor.

Thank you Robin. I am familiar with the core enough to get LEDs, Relays and Analog sensors working.
Just not sure how to get an IC2 sensor working and which is the best choice for it.

Hopefully someone here knows how to code to read data from a reliable humidity and temperature sensor via IC2
