Google assist Magic mirror

Hi all I making a magic mirror and need some help
1/ what’s the best Mic to use on a pi4?
2/ Trying to get Google assist to install/work on the mirror but keep getting an error about snow boy I’m tryed a few guides but keep getting errors when installing
, has anyone be able to get it to work in the last 6 months?
Modules I’m using MMM-GoogleAssistant

Hi David,

The simplest mics to use with a Pi are USB ones. If you’re just looking for the simplest option, something like this small USB dongle would work, however most assistants use larger mic array boards like this one from MiniDSP

As for your second question, could you send through pictures of your exact errors and the commands you’re running?

Thanks I’m doing 12 hour days so won’t be till Friday I have an image of errors.
