Homemade Pressure sensors

Good evening
I’m thinking about making a pressure sensor to read up to around 30psi
It would be a varying sensor for use in automotive diagnostics.
Is there anything available?
I would house it in irrigation fittings from Bunnings.

Not sure how much ‘home making’ you want to do, but Id probably start with something like this:

This might be handy. While labelled a water pressure sensor, it’s a pressure sensor. Any liquid or gas will exert the same force inside the sensor.

The life of the sensor may vary depending on what it’s exposed to. If you’re making business-decisions based on those readings, perhaps you could use a second one for periodic calibration tests of a known pressure.

I never saw your sensor when I did a search @Graham… Obviously did a “man search” - look but not see!!
