so i bought this fingerprint for a school project, but I am unable to get it to work with my Arduino. i have read voltage at the board and at the points on the fingerprint sensor and it is receiving voltage however the sensor won’t light up and is not being detected by the Arduino. Is there any advice on this? will i have to order a new sensor?

Sparkfun have a great hookup guide which you can find here. If that doesn’t fix your issues, could you send through your code along with wiring diagrams/photos? Thais will allow us to have a better look at what is going on.
