Tis’ the season - Celebrate Christmas the Maker way!
Read moreHello, I am enjoying the LED Christmas tree soldering kit. However, the linked PDF assembly instructions - https://core-electronics.com.au/attachments/uploads/CE09238-Christmas-tree-assembly-instructions.pdf
have the PCBs mis-labelled in the pictures. On page 1, the first PCB (with the slot at the bottom) is labelled A, but is actually board B. The image which is labelled “Red Green Yellow” is showing the real Board A (with the slot at the top). On this image, the Green label is showing the yellow LEDs, and the Yellow label is showing the green LEDs. It was only when I got to putting in the 10k resistors in R1, R3, R5, and R7 that I realised what I thought was Board A was actually Board B (as it doesn’t have R7).
Hey there, @Tracey213433, and welcome to the forum.
Thank you for bringing his to our attention, and for being so thorough with your corrections.
We will go ahead and fix up the pdf so there’s no more confusion.
I hope it didn’t cause your project too much strife.
