Need help with VL53L1X laser distance sensor

Hi,
I am trying to use the “SparkFun Distance Sensor Breakout - 4 Meter, VL53L1X” with my Arduino Uno to get the distance measurement with a 50Hz rate. I downloaded the library “SparkFun VL53L1X 4m Laser Distance Sensor” and the examples are working fine except that the read rate doesnot excced 10-11 Hz. I wonder if someone one can give me a lead to how to increase that read rate.

Hey Mohamed,

What have you got your timing budget and inter measurement time set to? You’ll need to crank these down ti get high frequency readings
