I’m looking at making a device to link QR codes to and RFID tag. I’ve seen 4 different readers that all look capable, I’m looking for advice to decide between them (I’d rather not buy one of each and try them all out).

I’ll be using the device to scan 2d barcodes outside in sunlight, as well as darker locations inside.
I intend to interface the unit with a raspberry pi (probably the zero w) using TTL serial.

Has anyone had any experience with these scanners?

Welcome to the forum, very sorry about the delay!

Personally I dont have any experience with these camera’s but if you have specific questions then we’re more than happy to jump in and do some research!

A few of them seem to have an ambient light spec in the description which will be relevant for your ever changing environment!
