Thanks for the benchmarks!
Those benchmarks look pretty good for the cost difference compared to the B+, especially as it has half the RAM of the B+!
Is it the Ethernet port and 3 extra USBs using all that extra power on the B+?
Do you think half the RAM saves some power too?

Hi Peter,

Model A+ got quite the upgrade didn’t it :slight_smile: I’m not sure where every mA is scooped up from, though I would expect that disabling Ethernet is a big part of that (it’s often very power hungry).

The lower power consumption means it’s a stronger candidate for some uses compared to 3B+ and there are so many projects where 4x USB are not needed. Power aside, it’s 30% cheaper, which suits every project.

Pros and cons; great to have as an option either way!
