Looking at that screen there would be no reason that it wouldn’t work for what you’re looking to do, the resolution on the screen is pretty standard, and would work fine for your use case.
Thanks Dan Just wondering do you had any experience with the kit. Does it need other module for it to work or it just goes over the 40 pin and installation of the driver?
I haven’t played around with that specific display, but it will just be a matter of attaching it to the Pi and then installing the drivers, nothing else required to make it run.
If you want to use 3.5", the DFRobot or Waveshare models are suitable. For larger displays, the Raspberry Pi Official Display or HyperPixel are better.
