I’m evaluating the RS485 750cm Ultrasonic Level Sensor (SKU: SS10199104) for a project. According to the [product datasheet] the MODBUS address and baud rate are configurable by simply writing to the appropriate registers - so far so good.
However, there is no mention of parity in the datasheet - Can I safely assume this means no parity?
Anyone out there had any experience with this sensor?

Looking again at the datasheet, it looks like the default is no parity check so looks like I should have no problems matching it to my 9600-8-N-1 requirements
