Setup vpn from kodi

Hello, firstly I’m very much a novice. I have a rpi3 and use kodi only. Recently we have not been able to stream movies which from what I can gather could be out isp blocking. I’m keen to setup a vpn on the rpi. I’ve searched high and low for instructions but everything is via a terminal and I’ve also tried to find how to access a terminal via kodi without luck.

Requesting some assistance please to setup a vpn and also access a terminal via kodi if that is required.

Note: I havent setup a VPN via Kodi myself so am very much in the dark when it comes to the intricacies.
