Speakers for Raspberry Pi project

Does anyone have experience with the small speakers from adafruit? I currently have an AIY kit using one of these and two of these.

Since I was lucky enough to pick up one of the official 7" screens for ~ $40, I am having to rethink the case design. Has anyone used one of these?

I am wondering if there is much difference in the sound quality?

Hi Michael,

If this was my project I’d go with the enclosed speakers:

I haven’t heard a side by side comparison, but since they have little speaker boxes and are a more modern speaker design I would expect to get better sound. Plus from a design standpoint, these would look nice incorporated into a case.
