Trying to create the OpenChess board

Hi team
im trying to create the Open sourced, Open Chess board located here

However, the Github said that the Arduino Nano ESP32 is ok as one of the arduinos to use.
the orignail Arduino uses the Connect RP2040.

I can get the LED blinking away in their rows and coloumn and even in nice pretty paterns. but i cant get the Hall sensors to register the magnets at all..

what am i doing wrong?? i can add the code if that helps too???

Let me know if someone can help debug this
cheers

Would help us for sure.

Also, just to clarify, did you buy the pre-made pcb or are you trying make your own board inspired by open chess.

Keen to help :+1:

Hey @SCHOOLPROJECT,

Welcome back to the forum!

Like Pixmusix said, sharing your code would really help! Also, if you can let us know which hall effect sensors you’re using (part numbers if possible), that’d be great.

Also, just to clarify, did you buy the pre-made PCB or are you trying to make your own board inspired by Open Chess?
