While it may be a bit cheaper the dev-kit simplifies a lot of the communications and filtering required to get these board running as smooth as they do.
When bringing these on our supplier did mention the SoC’s were available but, not enough of the ‘pizzaz’ was inside the sheild to warrant us bringing them on at the time.

In the future there might be a Makerverse module that saves space and cost - but we’ve got some pretty neat projects happeneing behind the scenes right now!
