Hi,
The lipo battery for this hat would seem to require a specific 40mm30mm8mm size lipo, but I couldn’t find the same size battery on your site. I have a number of sizes that don’t match this and would not fit in the space provided. Can you confirm if you have the right size/power specs?

While Core Electronics currently does not offer a LiPo Battery with those exact dimensions, I am glad you found a link to a supplier that is able to meet your needs.

Thanks for your answer. I ordered those batteries, but then realized later they don’t come with plugs attached. I have used JST connectors before, but these look different. What are those little white plugs called that connect to the board, and do you sell those?

That should just be a 2-pin JST-PH connector.

We sell them here: JST-PH 2 Pin Female Connector | Buy in Australia | FIT0148 | DFRobot | Core Electronics.

You will need your own crimping tool to connect the wires. Probably the most affordable one in this case would be these crimping pliers for $31.05. The headers will just fit the smallest size of the pliers.

Thanks for the reply. I finally received the UPS HAT, and it actually comes with the battery, so I just misread the description, which has a list of “Technical Specifications” which to me meant that’s what it would work with, not exactly was included with the product!

Yes it in fact does, as verified by @Timothy56227 earlier in this thread.

I’m going to go ahead and update the webpage for the UPS Hat to make that explicit.
