We can program ESP-01 with it, right?
Yes, this adapter will work just fine to download code to the ESP01, or any module that supports downloading via a simple UART interface.
However to download code to the ESP01 (or any similar device) it has to be configured correctly so that it can be set into program mode and then reset to execute the sketch. There are USB to UART adapters available that are designed for a particular MCU and which incorporate the additional components that simplify the procedure.

Hey @ahsrab292840,
This should work for an ESP-01!
If you are looking for an alternative, the ESP Flasher - Universal Auto-Programming Tool that Jeff linked is purpose-built for ESP programming and has a header that is sized for direct connection to an ESP-01.
It is a little more expensive but may be a bit easier to work with than this generic option.
Hope this helps!
