Try as I might I have only been able to read whole numbers of degrees Celsius from a DHT11. I realize the the accuracy of the sensor is only +/-2, so the question is really academic, but if the value is returned as a real number (floating point) why is there no fractional part? If there is such, how do I access it - it would make the printout on an LCD look all that much more scientific
Hey Rick,
Thanks for getting in touch. What platform are you using for your DHT11?
My machine is Intel QuadCore i5-3470 CPU @ 3.20GHz, 32 GB RAM, running MS
Windows 10 Home on an MSI B75MA-P45 motherboard.
It was assembled by Net Solution Computers of Morley, Western Australia,
and has a SAMSUNG U28D590D VDU driven by an NVIDIA QUADRO K620 Video Card
and RealTek High Definition Audio.
I have Windows Defender and Malwarebytes as Anti-virus with Firefox and
Skype running in the background.
