Hi all.
I’ve got a new-ish Sofar Inverter that has an unused RS485 connection. I’d like to get Modbus data from the inverter into HA but before I do that project I’d like to confirm that the inverter will spit out the Modbus data. The manual is very vague about this.
I’ll get a USB to RS485 dongle but I’m after recommendation of some Modbus freeware I can run on a laptop to prove the data is available.
Recommendations anyone?
