12kHz IR receiver

I’m looking at receiving IR binary in the 12kHz band and filtering out noise. Is there any easy way of doing this? I’m completely new to IR and electronics. Thanks in advance.

You can use the TSOP IR receiver module.

Welcome to the forum! @lia262073 is on the right track, there are a wide range of TSOP IR receivers available, 12kHz is on the low end of what you may find available, our receivers are primarily at about 30kHz.
