Hi! I am looking at using the CE08534 with a raspberry pi to translate some messages from two separate can busses. I noticed the documentation says that raspberry pi doesn’t natively support can, which I understand, but can anyone tell me what I need to use to interface with this board and if I need any additional hardware? Thank you!

Hi Jake,

Welcome to the forum!!

This HAT packs everything you need to translate messages from both buses, without the need for additional hardware.
Behind the scenes there is a CAN translator and SPI translator that takes the CAN signals to something that the Pi can read through the 40-pin header.

All of the instructions you’ll need to get it up and running are down the bottom of the product page in the Wiki!
