Hi there, I don’t know much about the SPI vs HAT e-ink displays. Will the SPI connect to a Raspberry Pi 3B without additional cables? Thanks

Hey Ciaran,
Welcome to the forums!

With this display, you will need to use the driver board. You are unable to just plug the ribbon cable directly into the Pi as it doesn’t work on the same communication protocol.

Thanks for that info Blayden. I will have to do a bit more research! I was after a 7" display which would just plug in.
