AC/DC Card Tesla/Westinghouse/Edison

Hi, We just received a product from Core, arrived in good time, thanks guys.

In the box was an info card, giving URLs to various helpful guides.

However on the front side it shows two “protagonists” of the AC - DC world.
Tesla and Edison.
The Edison image is of George Westinghouse, the major effort behind AC current.

If you want to get picky, AC image should be Westinghouse and DC should be an image Edison.

That is indeed a picture of Westinghouse not Edison!

Having done the illustration I’m somewhat embarrassed! I love the research aspect of my role, designing the fun inbox additions and we like to take care that they are useful and correct.

I think I might do a new illustration for Edison and slot that in the DC side - maybe I can have Tesla and Westinghouse on the AC side as the illustration exists.

It is a complicated history with no clear single “inventor” but this wiki article was a good read war of the currents

Ok it took a moment to try do an illustration of Edison that didn’t look like he had recently been resurrected. The guy had some serious eyebrows and deep seated eyes…
But I do think its important the card is correct :}
