May I please clarify that the “V+ and Gnd header slots” are alternatives to the “+ - Terminal Block Slot”
i.e. If I didn’t care for i2c config I could solder a jumper, attach a header block and away I go. OR if I wanted something reusable I could solder the 6 headers and ignore the jumpers and terminal block. Do I understand?
From my testing with it looks like the + and V+ are just two different access points for the same pin out and are directly connected. This is the same with - and GND.
You should have no problems attaching a header block to the - and +, bridging the contacts for your required voltage and adding it into your project!
