Does EasyVR require Quick T2SI Lite license in order to add my own custom commands? I note the lite program cost 149 Euros from Fortebit.

Hi Luigi,

Take a look at the downloads page on the ForteBit site:

In particular the EasyVR Application Note on training custom speakers and commands. It points you to the EasyVR Commander software, which appears to be downloadable for free.

Let us know how you go with this one, and we’ll help out where we can if it doesn’t work out

Hello James,

Thanks for the quick reply.

I had already gone to the ForteBit site and downloaded the Commander software.

When you run the program you only get as far as the license key required notice.

See attached screen grab.

Hence I thought I would ask you since your details mentions thta there is free software

on their website I could use to program my own words.

After getting your reply, I had a better read of the manual and found the following:

A QuickT2SI™ Lite license (sold separately) is required to enable creation of Speaker Independent

vocabularies (maximum 12 commands per set). No license required to use SI grammars.

2 At the maximum compression rate.

On their site, the cost of the Lite version is 149 Euros.

Unless I am missing something, there does not seem to be any way

of programming the module with my own words, for example ones used for Ham Radio.

So it seems I cannot get passed the licence panel to do anything.

Regards,

Lou
