Hi, I’m trying to find a way to build a full duplex walkie talkie for outdoor sport. It would need to have a range of up to 500m, support multiple people on each channel and have multiple channels. I have seen some chips that may work, but I not sure how to put the whole thing together. Any advice is welcome. Thank you!

As neat as that project would be, might be best to grab a retail-ready product for this sort of thing. You’ll save a lot of cash (and time) in the long run!

I had a similar problem and solved this problem when I found a multi-channel radio. Take the radiostation, walkie-talkie, and test how they react to different channels. I found a review on multi-channel walkie-talkies at http://thebestwalkietalkies.com. Take care about other walkie-talkies, they can mix channels, so you have do it step by step
