I am currently building a pedestrian counter and need help putting together a list of what components I need to buy and help putting it together.

The device must be waterproof, wireless and be able to connect to a network so we can collect real time data.

Hey Sam,

Sounds like a fun project, but could you elaborate on how you plan to count pedestrians? Was it just a simple sensor like an infrared or pressure sensor that picks up rough numbers or were you going to do something more advanced like image recognition?
