im looking at this product Gravity: Digital Wireless Switch Kit - Transmit and Receive (433MHz) SKU: TEL0140-1. Ive looked at the schematic of the sender unit and cannot figure out if the switch i have will trigger it. I guess this is a two part question because i havent found out exactly what the switch is called ( i call them TV remote control) switches, they could be called carbon or membrane switches or even resistive switches as the are activate/de-activate based on resistance. Anyway will this product work or what will. Needs to be ideally 12v and wireless and small like a key fob size. I took a chance and made an online purchase but the key fob (sender unit) has micro switches …

Without any additional information it’s impossible to say for certain whether or not the remote will trigger the switch. Do you have any additional information on the switch? Product or serial numbers could be a big help? Even a photo of the switch could provide important clues on whether it will work or not.

If your system is strictly 12 V and you want the transmitter powered from that, use a small DC-DC buck (12 V to 5 V or 3.3 V) or a linear regulator to feed the transmitter. Don’t feed 12 V into the module pins.
