Hi,
I’m working on a hack of the Clementoni Mio robot with my kids. We’ve taken out the board and replaced with a micro:bit v2.2 and a kitronics motor board.
These holidays I’d like to extend with an IR or ultrasound sensor. Looking for advice on parts to select and how to connect to the kitronics board. Also any other suggestions for extending this project, eg LEDs or sound options
Thanks heaps!

Firstly, how cool
Ive used this one before and its easy to use. Compatible with microbit via I2C?
Do you need a code example or are you all good?
I think the kiltronics has built in i2c pullups based on my googling but please check your model.
Concerning other ideas, (depending on the age of your kids), creating an r2d2 like robot language from a buzzer? My kid would go nuts for that.
Bzz bzzzzzz. Bzz vvvvvv bzzzzz.
Also my wife was looking over my shoulder as I wrote this and she says youre awesome.
